Union Canal is the Bridge Inn. The inn
has a range of different areas to chill out in, be it a canal
side seat in the open air during the summer months, a chair in
the bar area, or alternatively the light and airy
conservatory. There’s food served both lunchtime and
evenings and regular entertainment.
The Old Thatched Inn

a charming inn dating back to the 17th century that
boasts all the classic features like low ceilings, beautiful
fireplaces and traditional décor. The pub also has a separate
restaurant area serving both lunches and evening meals, with a
British based menu ranging from sandwiches to a hearty rib-eye
beef to tempt you.
Yates Wine Lodge

Wine Lodge is a large and spacious pub with a balconied area
above the main bar making for a good place for some people
watching. The décor includes a traditional stone floor and
white marble bar top. At the bar you’ll find a great range
of drinks on offer from good beers and wines, to more exotic
cocktails and smoothies and a good list of bar snacks and full
meals, such as a very tasty steak and ale pie.

we all have a country pub. It dates from the 17th
century and has a beautifully kept thatched roof and plenty of
outside seating, yet is just a short distance from the city.
The food is particularly good and it’s very popular with the
