what Market Place is all about. The restaurant is simply
decorated with wooden tables and chairs and bare brick walls
adorned with tasteful pictures, yet the interesting building
still gives it that wow factor. On the menu you can choose
from delicious mains such as char-grilled halibut on a warm
potato and leek salad, or pork tenderloin with a sage infused
sweet potato and shallot hash, with a nectarine and chilli
salsa.
Marcello’s

atmospheric restaurant makes it a real favourite amongst those
in the know. Marcello’s is a restaurant that specialises in
serving up Tuscan treats with the menu listing simple pasta
and pizza dishes to far more unusual options. Highlights of
the mains include whole tiger prawns simply char-grilled and
served with an oil and lemon dressing, breast of duck cooked
in a green olive and white wine sauce, or the glorious mistro
mare, which is a selection of shellfish including: oysters,
mussels and clams in a garlic, white wine and chilli sauce.
Jaipur

669796) Jaipur is widely known in the area as being the
largest purpose built Indian restaurant in Europe, which
certainly makes it easy to find. The building itself is a
thing to marvel and despite the huge capacity of the
restaurant it has won many awards for its fine Indian cuisine.
The £9.50 two-course lunch deal and the Sunday special family
buffet at £11, both represent great value for money.

is a large café style bar that’s always busy thanks to its
regular cut-price drinks menu. On weekend evenings this is
more of a bar, but during the day it’s a café that attracts
locals looking for a good value lunch and if you order food
early in the evening you’ll have a highly enjoyable
experience too, what’s more you can stay their and soak up
the atmosphere after your meal.

vegetable pakoras, followed by the likes of chicken balti,
korma, dopiaza or biryani, plus much much more.
